- Have you served in combat in the military? (NOTE: This can be ANY Country and ANY Branch of service).
- Are you a certified diver with at least 25 logged open water dives?
- Have you been diving within the last 6 months?
- Do you have any underwater photography experience or would you like to learn?
- Are you located within reasonable travel distance of Negros Oriental, Philippines or would you be able to raise funds for your travel?

The Dive Dauin Festival, originally named Dive 7, is hosting an underwater photography contest from June 25-29, 2025. The contest emphasizes sustainability and community involvement, with locals, dive shops, the Department of Tourism, and dive resorts collaborating to organize clean-ups both onshore and underwater. This offer includes free guidance on basic underwater photography and videography. If you are already a camera pro then you are more than welcome to bring your own gear. Our gracious hosts will be able to loan to you and teach you how to use basic camera and video setups and how to edit your shots.
