I first met Wayne ”Windy” Miller whilst serving in Northern Ireland in the mid 90’s where we became firm friends. In our short time serving together I found him to be a loyal and reliable friend and colleague who could quite frankly make friends in an empty field. We kept in touch over the years and I can honestly say he is the most reliable and selfless friend I’ve had in my 52 years on this Earth always there to help out no matter the situation.
I owe a debt of gratitude to him that I can never repay because he was the one who inspired me with the confidence to try Scuba Diving for the first time. I have never been a fan of water and hate swimming but I now love Diving. Over the past 7 or so years we have been on quite the adventure Scuba Diving all over the world from Thailand and Philippines to the Caribbean and it’s through his guidance and patience that I’ve become confident and reasonably competent at Scuba Diving; a sport I know I would never have tried without his help. I look forward to the rest of the adventures we are bound to have in this sport not least of which will be Trident Warriors which is something I know he is incredibly passionate about bringing the joys of Scuba Diving to Military Veterans around the world. I have every confidence that he will make a success of this endeavour.
